Kayak Handle Introduction

B1101 Series Side Mount Carry Handle, as known as Kayak Handle, a replacement handle for carrying your kayak, is the most common handle style for Kayak.

The Handle features high quality, durable, ergonomic and comfortable to hold. Not only designed for kayaks and canoes but can also be used for backpacks, bags, luggage, suitcases, outdoor equipment, and any other potential usage.

Kayak Handle Manufacturing Process

The Kayak Handle is composed of plastic and webbing strap. Unlike typical plastic injection molding processes for general plastic accessories, we will need to do some preparatory work before proceeding to the plastic injection phase.

Inside the handle, there is an inner core that must be placed in the middle of the webbing. After all the inner cores are positioned, we can then begin the plastic injection process.

This plastic injection method is called over-molding, which involves placing the webbing on the machine and then covering it with plastic through the over-molding process, and finally a complete handle is produced.

If there are no specific requirements for the design of the handle ends, we will use a hot-melt method to seal the open ends, and the handle production completes successfully.

Kayak Handle Materials

The Handles comes in two different materials: PVC and TPR. The primary difference between the two is that TPR is an eco-friendly, non-toxic material. TPR handles have a matte finish and provide an anti-slip effect, making them an excellent choice for various applications, but the price will be a bit higher. On the other hand, PVC handles have a smooth surface texture.

Kayak Handle Styles

BP-B1101: No other processing on the both ends of the handle, which is the most basic style.
BP-B1101A: No other processing on the both ends of the handle, which is the most basic style. Equipped with two Caps, you can use it in combination with your products.
BP-B1101-1: Having over-molding and no drilling holes at the both ends of the handle.
BP-B1101-1A: Having over-molding and drilling holes at the both ends of the handle.
BP-B1101-2: Having grommets at the both ends of the handle.
BP-B1101-3: Folding twice and seam, and drill hole at both ends of the handle, making the ends stronger.
BP-B1101-3A: Half-folding and seam, and drill hole at the both ends of the handle.
BP-B1101-4: Half-folding and seam, and drill hole at the both ends of the handle, and combine the handle with Bungee Cords.
