Tri-Glide, which is also known as Slide Buckle or Slider, webbing adjuster/keeper, is used for adjusting the length or tightness of webbing.
Let's dive into more details of each new styles of Tri-Glide below!
Usage of Slide Buckles
Slide Buckles are widely used in various bags, backpacks, footwear (shoelace adjusters), pet collars and harnesses, life jacket buckles, outdoor hiking gear, and more.
Sizes of the Slide Buckles
We offer many styles and sizes, ranging from as small as 8mm to as large as 2 inches. By measuring the width of the webbing, you can select a Tri-Glide with the appropriate internal width for your application.
However, not every Slide Buckle model is available in all sizes, as we produce according to the common specifications in the market. If you don’t see the size you need on our website, feel free to contact us, and we can provide recommendations for your product.
How do we know the sizes of the Tri-Glide?
When choosing the size of the Slide Buckle, it is based on the size of your "webbing". If your webbing inner width is 1 inch (about 25mm), then a 1-inch buckle would be the size you need.
If you would like to know the size of the slide buckle itself, you can measure the part where the webbing passes through the slide buckle, which means the slide buckle size is determined by the internal width of the buckle. This measurement is how we define the buckle size.
So, when you want to know the size of the slide buckle you have, you can just simply measure it as shown in the image below:

How to thread the Tri-Glide?
The first step is to feed the webbing directly into the slide, over the center bar, and out through the opening on the opposite side.
After feeding the strap back into the slide, over the center bar, and out on the opposite side.
Production Method of Tri-Glide
Slide Buckles are manufactured through plastic injection molding, and the production process can be referenced in this article: What is Plastic Injection Mold? - A Glimpse into our working process
