Made from plastic ABS, standing up to outdoor conditions for a long time. The Rod Holder needs a 4.5×3.5 inch flat deck area, and the space under the deck needs to be more than about 9 inches deep to accommodate the 30 degree angled mounting.
To strengthen the seal and ensure the waterproof function, you can add KA22 30 Degree Flush Mount Rod Holder Gasket.
In addition, if you also want to ensure that water or debris will not enter the Rod inside, KA20 30 Degree Flush Mount Rod Holder Cap Cover Gasket can meet your needs.
