The Side Release Buckle, which consists of two components: a male and a female buckle, is a common accessory for backpacks, belts, straps, and similar items, as well as outdoor gear, sports equipment, camping supplies, and more.
Made from Nylon plastic, which is durable and offers excellent long-term stability.
The BP522 Side Release Buckle is a single-adjust buckle designed for adjusting webbing on accessories. It’s suitable for 1" (25mm) webbing. Unlike standard POM material, the nylon buckle has a different feel to the touch compared to POM.
This buckle itself does not adjust the webbing, so we would recommend to pair it with a slider for webbing adjustments. To release the buckle, simply press both buttons on the sides at the same time, and it will come apart easily.
