The Side Release Buckle, which consists of two components: a male and a female buckle, is a common accessory for backpacks, belts, straps, and similar items, as well as outdoor gear, sports equipment, camping supplies, and more.
Made from POM plastic, it is durable and offers excellent long-term stability.
BP-533 Side Release Buckle comes with a metal key, which features a locking feature to reduce the risk of young children accidentally opening the buckle.
This buckle itself does not adjust the webbing, so we would recommend to pair it with a slider for webbing adjustments. Before opening the buckle, ensure that it is unlocked; then simply press the sides of the buckle to release it. This style is suitable for 2" (51mm) webbing.
